Annual Native Artisan Market and Festival
Each year, the Aquinnah Cultural Center hosts the Native Artisan Market and festival to highlight Native artisans and showcase their work. Join us to shop directly from artisans, listen to live music, watch artist demos, and make a craft of your own!
Vending is on an invite-only basis.
Rain date is Sunday, July 20.
Pt. 1 - Pinch Pots on the Patio (for Tribal Citizens)
Tribal citizens are invited to join the Aquinnah Cultural Center for a two-part workshop on how to make pinch pots, led by Beverly Wright, tribal elder. The workshops will be held on July 17 and July 19 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM on the patio.
We will be working with clay that was harvested from the Gay Head Cliffs many years ago. Due to the protected nature of the clay cliffs, this workshop is for tribal citizens only.

This August, immerse yourself in the rich history and stunning landscapes of Aquinnah Wampanoag homelands with our exclusive guided walking tour. This enriching journey, led by Jannette Vanderhoop, takes you from the Aquinnah Cultural Center to the breathtaking Gay Head Cliffs Overlook and concludes at the historic Gay Head Lighthouse.
